The Finnish Law is very problematic because it does not recognise racism in its form that it´s usually practised and how it´s perceived. We mean acts, that motives are racist and xenophobic- minded.

The law is also very weak to recognise racists violence, especially if it is done by Officials like The Police or The Army or done by some other authority & power figure like the guards or other security force personnel. Cases are not filed or they are not pursued. Victims are threatened or manipulated when filing the report.

This is why we do not have a country scaled official report about the phenomena’s frequency and problems it proposes.

The Finnish Parliament has requested to show proof on this subject, so Rasmus has decided to start gathering up concrete official data. We will send the documents without names, totally anonymous case-stories to the Finnish Parliament, Ministry of Justice, Equality Representatives Office and the European Union.
